PM Modi attends Diwali celebrations with ITBP Jawans in Lepcha

New Delhi, 12 Nov: Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Lepcha in Himachal Pradesh to celebrate the festival of lights with Indian-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP).

He said on X: “Reached Lepcha in Himachal Pradesh to celebrate Diwali with our brave security forces.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Droupadi Murmu, and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar have all expressed passionate Diwali greetings to the country, highlighting the festival’s importance in encouraging love, unity, and the triumph of good over evil.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished everyone a happy Diwali in a social media post on X, wishing that the celebration gives everyone pleasure, wealth, and good health. Meanwhile, Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, wished everyone a happy Diwali and prayed for the people and the state’s well-being.

He also referred to Ayodhya’s Deepotsav, saying, “The country and the world have witnessed Ayodhya’s Deepotsav. Diplomats from 54 nations have been to Ayodhya to see the new temple. The big ‘Deepotsav’ was envisioned by Prime Minister Modi…Diwali is a vehicle for all of us to spread wonderful energies…”
