Uttrakhand police recovers car used in Reliance Jewellery showroom robbery

Dehradun 13 November: The car used in the robbery at Reliance Jewellery showroom was stolen by thieves from Agra in the month of June. Uttrakhand police teams are raiding other states in search of miscreants, police said.

On Monday, the police administration said that in the incident that took place at the Reliance Jewelery showroom on Rajpur Road, the police team had recovered the Ertiga car used in the incident from Selaqui police station area. When a thorough forensic examination of the said car was done, the miscreants had erased the chassis number of the car with the aim of destroying the evidence.

According to the police, important evidence was collected from the car by the police with the help of forensics, on the basis of which the said car was booked from Delhi to Agra in the month of June by two persons who took the driver hostage and looted the said car from the Kandoli police station area of Agra district. |

Police informed, in this regard, a case of robbery has been registered in Agra on 10 June 23. From the investigation, the police team has found important evidence about the miscreants, a special team has been sent to Agra.
