Lakhimpur Kheri, 14 Nov: The Dudhwa National Park is now ready to welcome guests beginning Wednesday, with a 33% cut in tariff prices and a focus on improved tourist amenities.

Lalit Verma, Field Director of Dudhwa Tiger Reserve, stated, “The Dudhwa National Park will reopen to tourists and other visitors on November 15.The tourism season in Dudhwa will begin tomorrow, with UP Forest Minister Arun Kumar Saxena officiating.

“This season’s reduction in Dudhwa safari pricing is likely to attract more guests. The park would fully satisfy tourists this year because the upgradation of tourist spots and road management has increased chances of tiger-sighting,” Saxena remarked.

During the previous season, tourists were regularly able to see tigers. Tourists have an excellent possibility of seeing tigers, sloth bears, wild elephants, swamp deer, and other exotic animals this year. Meanwhile, with the Dudhwa tourism season approaching, Kheri Superintendent of Police Ganesh Prasad Saha issued a warning to visitors.

The advise specified that no tourists would be permitted to bring firearms or dogs into the national park, nor would they be permitted to use horns, transistors, music sets, or other similar sound-making items that may disturb wild animals. Trekking would be permitted only on the designated routes. The Dudhwa National Park was formed in 1977 and covers an area of 490 square kilometers.

It is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including tigers, leopards, elephants, sloth bears, and more than 450 bird species. The park is particularly famous for its distinctive environment, which includes meadows, wetlands, and deep forests.
