Tel Aviv, 20 Nov: Israel Defence Forces and Israel Security Services have exposed the Hamas tunnel under the biggest hospital in Gaza, Al Shifa. IDF, facing strong criticism for attacking the hospital, has posted a video exposing the Hamas terrorist hideout under the hospital.
IDF posted some photographs demonstrating the intentions of Hamas to hide in safe places like hospitals. Israel has encircled the entire Gaza with a determination to completely eliminate the Hamas and work out a solution to the conflict which has been going on for decades.
The Central Institute for Intelligence and Special Operations and Shin Bet (Internal Security Agency) have found 10-meter deep and 55-meter-long tunnel under the hospital. The door of the tunnel is bulletproof. A huge quantity of arms and ammunition is stored in the tunnel. The possibility of connectivity to other tunnels of Hamas cannot be ruled out.
Israel has not hindered any attempt or request to evacuate the patients in the hospital. The IDF, however, denied the allegations that it allowed only one hour to shift the patients from the Al Shifa Hospital. All the requests for shifting of the patients have been honoured, IDF said.
