Kanpur, 23 November: The sky is expected to be light to moderately cloudy during the next five days. There is no chance of rain this week with temperatures continuing to fluctuate. This information was given by Dr Sunil Pandey, meteorologist of Chandrashekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur on Thursday.
He said that the maximum temperature around Kanpur on Thursday was 26.4 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was recorded at 11.0 degrees Celsius. Talking about relative humidity, the maximum relative humidity was 93 percent and minimum 63 percent. The average wind speed was 2.2 kilometers per hour and the wind direction was north-east.
Weather system across the country
According to meteorologists, a cyclonic circulation extends up to 3.1 km above sea level over interior Tamil Nadu and adjoining parts of Kerala. A cyclonic circulation may form over the South Andaman Sea on November 25. Due to its effect, a low pressure area may develop in the same area around November 26.
It is likely to move west-northwestwards and turn into a depression over southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining Andaman Sea around November 27. A fresh Western Disturbance will reach the Western Himalayas on November 25.
