Ranchi, Sept.20: Sakshi, the wife of cricketer and former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, has tweeted about the state of electricity in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. She wrote that there is no power in Ranchi for 4 to 7 hours every day (Power Cut). People of the city face power cut every day.
Sakshi wrote in a tweet that, there was no electricity for five hours. There is no reason to cut electricity. Today there is no festival and the weather is also clear. Hopefully the concerned authority will solve the problem.
Dhoni’s new house in Ranchi is in Simlia area adjacent to Ring Road near Daladali Chowk. Here electricity is supplied from Ratu Power Sub Station. On the tweet, Ranchi’s Electrical Superintending Engineer PK Srivastava has given a clarification. He said that people had already been informed about no electricity from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm on September 19.
