Chandigarh, 29 November: Anju Rafael, 34, who went to Pakistan from Rajasthan six months ago, returned to India on Wednesday through Attari-Wagah border.
Anju had married her Facebook friend Nasrullah, 29, in Pakistan. On reaching Amritsar, security agencies interrogated her for several hours. After this Anju was sent to New Delhi via flight from Amritsar.
As per sources, Anju Rafael alias Fatima can be further interrogated in New Delhi by the Intelligence Agencies.
Anju did not talk much to the media at Amritsar airport.
She said she was happy. She does not want to comment anything more than this. Nasrullah, who had come to drop Anju to the India-Pakistan border, claimed that she would come back to Pakistan next month after meeting the children.
Anju had married her Facebook friend Nasrullah of Pakistan, who lives in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. After which Pakistan extended her visa for one year. Now she has come to India only with NOC from the Pakistan government. Security agencies claimed that she wants to take her children along.
Actually, Anju had become friends with Nasrullah of Pakistan on social media, which later turned into love. After which Anju went to Pakistan. Anju converted to Islam after reaching Pakistan and married
Nasrullah. Anju’s first marriage was to Arvind from Rajasthan.
