(Update) Assembly polls vote counting: Saffron power on track to win in 3 states, Congress in Telangana

New Delhi, 3 December: The results of the ongoing assembly vote counting in four states now seem to be clear that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is winning in three states and the Congress is ousting BRS from power in the Telangana.

The BJP seems to be getting a big mandate in Madhya Pradesh. BJP seems to have a clear majority in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh as well. Even in Telangana, the average votes received by BJP so far has been more than 14 percent where it is leading on 9 seats.

According to the Election Commission, out of 90 assembly seats in Chhattisgarh, BJP is leading in 54, Congress in 33, GGP in one, BSP in one and CPI in one seat. Out of 230 seats in Madhya Pradesh, BJP is leading on 161, Congress on 66, BSP on 2 and others on one seat.

As per Election Commission, In Rajasthan, BJP seems to be getting 113 seats, Congress 70, BSP two and 13 seats are going to others. In Telangana, Congress is leading on 65 seats, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) on 39, BJP on 9, AIMIM on 5 and CPI on one seat.

These trends are as of 2:00 pm and are subject to change.

If we consider the percentage of votes received by the big two parties of these four states, then in Chhattisgarh BJP has got 46.04 percent votes and Congress has got 42.10 percent votes.

In Madhya Pradesh, BJP got 48.84 percent votes and Congress got 40.30 percent votes.

In Rajasthan, BJP got 42.10 percent votes and Congress got 39.10 percent votes.

In Telangana, Congress has got 39.65 percent average votes, BRS has got 37.84 percent and BJP has got 14.04 percent average votes.
