Jaunpur: At least eight people were died while many others injured in a massive blast in an oxygen cylinder in Jaunpur district of Uttar Pradesh on Thrusday at around 5 pm.
The incident took place in Line Bazar area near Matapur town. Although the cause of the incident is still nto clear.
Fire tenders and medical services were sent to the spot and rescue operations are currently going on. However , the district administration also reached the spot just after the blast.
As per the reports, while one person died on the spot , seven others who were admitted to the near by hospital, succumbed their injuries.
