Lucknow, 03 Jan: In a defamation case filed by former Uttar Pradesh Jal Shakti Minister Mahendra Singh against Aam Aadmi Party leader and MP Sanjay Singh, the court imposed a fine of โน 1 lakh on the latter.
Along with this, the court has directed to immediately remove comments against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former minister Dr. Mahendra Singh from all social media accounts.
In this case, advocate Prashant Singh Atal had argued on behalf of Dr Mahendra Singh. Civil Judge Senior Division Lucknow Kamal Kant Gupta has given this verdict.
It is noteworthy that Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh had made comments on various social media platforms accusing the Jal Shakti Minister of corruption in Yogi Government.
