PM Modi reaches Jaipur to attend 58th Conference of DGs-IGs, Shah inaugurates today

Jaipur, 05 January: Governor Kalraj Mishra and Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma received Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the airport upon his arrival in Jaipur on Friday evening.

The Governor and the Chief Minister welcomed Narendra Modi in Jaipur and felicitated him by presenting a bouquet.

From the airport, Prime Minister Modi directly reached the state BJP headquarters in Jaipur on Friday. Modi will talk to MLAs, ministers and party officials here.

PM will also have dinner with MLAs and officials. After becoming the Prime Minister, Modi is holding a meeting at the state BJP headquarters for the first time. Modi will be at BJP state headquarters from 6 pm to 9 pm. Will stay at Raj Bhavan for the night.

On Saturday, he will participate in the ongoing DG-IG conference at Rajasthan International Centre.

Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah today inaugurated the 58th Conference of Directors General-Inspectors General of Police at Rajasthan International Centre, Jaipur.

The conference is being held in hybrid mode with Directors General of Police and Inspectors General of Police as well as heads of central police organizations participating in person in Jaipur, while more than 500 police officers of various ranks from across the country are participating through video conferencing.

The Union Home Minister distributed police medals for meritorious service to Intelligence Bureau (IB) officers and presented trophies for the three best police stations.
