Ayodhya, October 25: Preparations have been almost completed by the government of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to once again set the Deepotsav celebration, to be held in Ayodhya, on the world stage. In the third Deepotsav, Ram Ki Paidi is decorated with lamps to create a new world record once again. Around 1.25 lakh lamps are decorated on the feet of Ram. It is also planned to light about one and a half lakh ‘Diyas’  at Guptarghat, Bharatkund, major ghats and monasteries and public places, besides Ram Ki Paidi.
The protocol of Fiji’s deputy speaker and assistant minister for Health Bina Bhatnagar has reached as the chief guests of the program. The district administration has also got the program of the arrival of Union Minister of Tourism and Culture Prahlad Patel. State Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and his cabinet colleagues are to attend the ceremony. After the remodeling of the Ram Ki Paidi, the continuous flow of water has started in the Paidi since when the water pump is made operational.
With the help of all schools, colleges and voluntary organizations including the university, 3 lakh 21 thousand ‘Diyas’ have been decorated so far at 15 ghats of Ram Ki Paidi. The entire area associated with the program, from Ramkatha Park to Ram Ki Paidi, is decked up with colorful lights. For the laser light show, the team has rehearsed, and for the fireworks, the team attached to it has found a place near the old bridge across the city.
Government in an attempt to break old record
In the second Deepotsav ceremony held last year, the count of three lakh one thousand one hundred fifty-two ‘Diyas’ on the foot of lord Ram was recorded by the Guinness Book of Records team. This time on the instructions of the state government, work has been started under the scheme to break the old world record and make a new record. About six thousand volunteers have been engaged to take the lamp lightening records to three lakh thirty thousand simultaneously. This time, with the help of the public, there is no problem in making a record, this time, lighting of the lamp is being done at the major ghats, kunds, monasteries and public places of Ayodhya.
Selection of 14 major temples
This time 14 major temples of Ram Nagri have also been selected under the Deepotsav program. Overall, the target is to lit 5 lakh 51 thousand lamps. However, for the record, only Ram Ki Paidi will be counted. Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Awadh University’s Chancellor, Manoj Dixit said that during the meeting of the organizing committee, 3 lakh 21 thousand lamps have been set to be lit on the foot of Ram.
