.Lucknow, 01 April: After being convicted in the Raju Pal murder case of Prayagraj, Israr surrendered in the CBI court of Lucknow.
Prayagraj Police was searching for Israr, accused in the Rajupal murder case, after he was sentenced to life imprisonment in Allahabad Court. Israr was not present in the court when he was sentenced to life imprisonment, that is why a non-bailable warrant was issued against him.
In a dramatic development, Israr suddenly reached the CBI court in Lucknow on Monday and surrendered. After this he is being interrogated.
He was the key member of slain gangster Atiq Ahmad’s gang.
