Kanpur, June 24: The Meteorological Department has issued a warning on Monday, expressing the possibility of rain with strong winds, thunder and lightning in 28 districts of Uttar Pradesh on Monday.
This information was given by Dr S.N. Sunil Pandey, Meteorologist of Chandrashekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur.ย
He informed that the weather department has issued warning of rain with thunder and lightning in the state capital Lucknow, Hardoi, Farrukhabad, Sitapur, Shahjahanpur, Aligarh, Badaun, Bulandshahr, Sambhal, Auraiya, Unnao, Kanpur Dehat, Amroha, Kanpur Nagar, Kasganj, Hathras, Mainpuri, Firozabad, Etawah, Jalaun, Shravasti, Hapur, Moradabad, Lakhimpur Kheri, Pilibhit, Rampur, Bareilly.ย
Pandey apprised that there is a possibility of rain with winds blowing at a speed of 40 to 60 kilometers per hour in about 21 districts of the state whereas the weather department has issued warning of rain with thunder and lightning in 28 districts with winds blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour.ย
