Kulgam, July 07: Five terrorists were killed and two soldiers were martyred in two encounters that started on Saturday in Kulgam district of South Kashmir. The
first encounter took place in Chinnigam area of โโKulgam district. In this encounter, 4 terrorists were killed while a soldier sacrificed his life during treatment in the hospital. At the same time, the body of another terrorist was found in Chinnigam area on Sunday morning. A top police officer said that the search operation of security forces is still going on in the area.
In another encounter that took place in Mudargam area of โโKulgam district, an army soldier was martyred in the initial firing. So far there is no information about any terrorist being killed in the encounter. The operation is continuing in the area on Sunday as well.
