Lucknow , August 09: A First Information Report (FIR) was registered at Hazratganj police station on Friday against the social media account ‘X’ of the media cell of the Samajwadi Party (SP).
BJP leader Vijay Kumar Bhurji, who lives in Lakadmandi, Saadatganj, has filed a complaint in the Hazratganj police station in this matter.
He said that on August 3, an objectionable post was made about the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister on the social media site ‘X’ of the media cell of the Samajwadi Party, referring to an incident in Varanasi.
The police have started investigating the matter. The police can also interrogate the people associated with the media cell of the SP.
