Earlier, she had also posted on Monday in which she expressed her concern on this issue and described India as her “second home”.

Taslima Nasreen wrote on Instagram on Monday, “Dear Amit Shah ji namaste. I live in India because I love this great country. It has been my second home for the last 20 years. But the Home Ministry is not extending my residence permit since July 22.”

She wrote, “I am very worried. I will be very grateful to you if you allow me to stay. Best wishes.”
