Mumbai, 23 October: All the accused in the former minister Baba Siddiqui murder case were in direct contact with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother Anmol Bishnoi through Snapchat. The investigation has also revealed that Anmol Bishnoi was handling all the shooters from Canada and America. This important disclosure has been made in the investigation of this case so far. Mumbai Police is now investigating several Snapchat accounts.
The police officer investigating the case said on Wednesday that preliminary investigation shows that the accused were in contact with each other through Snapchat and would immediately delete it after talking through messages. Some of these accounts are linked to Anmol Bishnoi.
The officer said that we are checking the details of these accounts, but we are sure that one of those accounts is linked to Bishnoi. Four mobile phones have been seized from the accused, whose forensic report has been received by the Crime Branch.
According to the police officer, this report also contains the retrieved copy of the chats of Snapchat application. While analyzing these chats, the Crime Branch has found evidence of Anmol Bishnoi’s involvement. Investigation has revealed that Anmol Bishnoi was inspiring the accused of Baba Siddiqui murder case through Snapchat. Mumbai Police has so far arrested 10 accused in this case, while a lookout circular has been issued against three absconding accused.
