Lucknow: Chairperson of the Uttar Pradesh Scheduled Caste Finance and Development Corporation [UPSCFDC], Lalji Prasad Nirmal today condemned the statement of the SP leader Azam Khan against actress-turned-politician Jaya Prada, who is fighting Lok Sabha elections against Azam Khan from Rampur seat.
Also the president of the Dalit Mahasabha, Lalji Prasad Nirmal said that the language he used against a woman has shown his upbringing. “This is highly disgusting and embarrassing. This is an actual face of Azam Khan and his party. This is how women are being treated in so-called socialist party. Now I appeal to Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati to come forward to criticise the derogatory remarks made against the Jaya Prada by his alliance partner. I request to Election Commission of India to debar Azam Khan from fighting any election after this remark,” said Lalji Prasad Nirmal.
While talking to the upkareporter.com, he reminded that how Azam Khan had made controversial remark against the Dalit icon Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar in the presence of SP chief Akhilesh Yadav at the time of Uttar Pradesh assembly elections.
Saddened by the comments against Jaya Prada, president of the Dalit Mahasabha expressed his pain by saying that such comments are highly objectionable. “There should not be any place in the politics as well as in the society for people like Azam Khan. If he [Khan] cannot give respect to the great leader like B R Ambedkar because of the casteist policy of his party, he has no right to insult him by his objectionable comments,” he said.
Nirmal admired the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s development works he has done in last five years.
“PM Modi is working hard day and night for the development of the country. He has great stamina. He sleeps only three to four hours in 24 hours and rest of the time, he works only,” Lalji stated.
Lalji Prasad Nirmal also admired the simplicity of the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
“CM Yogi is also working in the same manner as our PM works. He is very serious for the development of Uttar Pradesh,” said Nirmal.
Very good, I like it.
Thanks
