There were 2 people including the pilot in the plane, but both the people including the Indian Air Force pilot saved their lives by jumping into the field. The Air Force said in a statement that the system of the MiG-29 aircraft malfunctioned near Agra during a regular training flight today. Earlier on September 2, a MiG-29 fighter plane crashed in Barmer, Rajasthan due to a technical fault. The pilot managed to get out safely before the accident. Similarly, a fighter plane on a training mission from the Air Force base in Barmer sector of Rajasthan malfunctioned and caught fire soon after crashing in a field away from the population near Uttarlai in Barmer.
