Double Decker electric bus service will ease the traffic problem: CM Yogi

Lucknow, 9 November: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched the state’s first double-decker electric bus service before the Akanksha Haat program at the Indira Gandhi Foundation on Saturday.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath flagged off the bus. During this time, he also traveled in the bus with the children and learned about the features of the bus.

Electric vehicle plant being set up by Hinduja Group will start production soon.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that starting the service of the state’s first double-decker electric bus will help in solving the traffic problem. Also, this will prove to be an important step in the direction of environmental protection. Being electric, this bus will help in reducing pollution. At the same time, similar double-decker electric bus service will be started in other major cities of the province.

CM Yogi said that Hinduja Group is also setting up an electric vehicle plant here, the production of which will start soon.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the government is continuously working on various schemes to promote local art and self-handicrafts in Uttar Pradesh. Through this, a new platform and employment opportunities are being given to the artisans here.
