CM Shinde casts his vote in Thane, 32.11% voting till 1 pm Maharashtra, 50.89% in Gadchiroli dist (highest)

Mumbai, November 20: Chief Minister Eknath Shinde voted with his family at a polling booth in Thane district on Wednesday.

Similarly, former Chief Minister and Shiv Sena UBT President Uddhav Thackeray voted with his family in Bandra and MNS President Raj Thackeray voted with his family in Dadar.

The voting process is going on peacefully in Maharashtra. However, complaints of EVM malfunction have been received at many polling stations. 32.11 percent voting has been recorded in Maharashtra till 1 pm, the highest voting of 50.89 percent has been done in Gadchiroli district.

Eknath Shinde is the 20th Chief Minister of Maharashtra and has been an MLA from Kopri-Pachpakhadi assembly constituency in Thane for four consecutive times. Shinde is contesting from this seat to become MLA for the fifth time, here his main rival is Kedar Dighe of Shiv Sena UBT.

After casting his vote, Eknath Shinde said that I urge everyone to come forward and vote.
