Varanasi, 01 December: The controversy of cutting cake inside the sanctum sanctorum of Baba Kaal Bhairav ​​temple, Kotwal of Kashi, is rising. National President of Azad Adhikar Sena Amitabh Thakur on Sunday demanded the Police Commissioner to register a case against social influencer Mamta Rai who cut the cake inside the sanctum sanctorum of the temple.

Former IPS Amitabh Thakur has said in his complaint sent to the Police Commissioner Varanasi that usually people are not even allowed to enter the sanctum sanctorum inside the Kal Bhairav ​​temple. On the contrary, in this case, the woman went inside the sanctum sanctorum of the temple and cut the cake which prima facie is an insult to the place of worship under section 298 Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), insult to the customs of any religion under section 299 BNS. He has demanded that an FIR be registered in this regard under appropriate sections.
