Bhopal, 02 December: Pandit Dhirendra Shastri, head of Bageshwar Dham in Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh and famous preacher, has received a death threat. Punjab’s religious bigot Barjinder Singh Parwana said from a stage that the countdown for Dhirendra Shastri has begun. He will be killed. This threat was given from a crowded stage in a gathering organized from November 26 to 30 in Kadarabad, Kapurthala, Punjab.

After the video surfaced late on Sunday evening, Anti Terrorist Front India and Vishwa Hindu Takht chief Viresh Shandilya have complained about it to the DGP of Punjab.

Parwana said that Baba of Bageshwar should note that his countdown has started from today. You will also be fooled and killed as per your wish. You just come. Forget about Harmandir Sahib, Baba of Bageshwar should come to Amritsar or Punjab.

There was a five-day congregation from November 26 to 30 in Kadarabad village of Kapurthala district of Punjab, from the stage of which Barjinder Singh Parwana had threatened Pandit Dhirendra Shastri.

In the video, Parwana can be heard saying that the sadhu of Bageshwar Dham has given a statement that we will do our worship in that Harmandir. We will do Abhishek and build a temple. I say come, but remember one thing, we killed Indira Gandhi. We did not let her set foot inside. An army of lakhs came here, we shot them dead. Beant (former Chief Minister of Punjab Beant Singh) was blown up with a bomb in Chandigarh.

In fact, Pandit Dhirendra Shastri had gone to the Golden Temple in Punjab on October 21, 2023. During that time he wore a yellow turban on his head. On this occasion, Dhirendra Shastri had said in one of his statements that now the voice has reached here, so the worship of that temple should also start as soon as possible. Ram ji has sat in Ayodhya. Nandi Bhagwan came out in Kashi. This is the auspicious time. Now Abhishek, Rudrabhishek should also be done in Hari Har Mandir. Dhirendra Shastri had given this statement not for the Golden Temple but for Kalki Dham, Sambhal.

It is worth noting that Barjinder Singh Parwana has been in controversies earlier as well. He was also accused in the violence in Patiala in the year 2022 and the police had also arrested him. Parwana is originally from Rajpura in Patiala. He went to Singapore during 2007-08. After staying there for about one and a half years, he returned to Punjab. After coming here, Parwana formed a group named Damdami Taksal Rajpura and himself became its leader. Parwana was also involved in the farmers’ movement against agricultural laws. He is also active on social media and is accused of making inflammatory statements.
