New Delhi, 7 December: A nationwide campaign ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki’ Aur (Administration in village) will be launched on December 19 during the fourth Good Governance Week. Its objective is to redress public grievances and improve service delivery.
The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions said in a statement on Saturday that this campaign will be organized in all the districts, states and union territories of the country from December 19 to 24. More than 700 district collectors will participate in the campaign and officials will visit tehsils and panchayat committee headquarters.
This is the third time that the Government of India will run a national campaign at the tehsil level to resolve public grievances and improve service delivery.
The initial phase of Good Governance Week will run from December 11 to 18. A portal, https://darpgapps.nic.in/GGW24, will be inaugurated on December 11 to start the program of Good Governance Week. This will be a dedicated portal in which the District Collectors will upload the progress along with good governance practices and video clips during the preparation and implementation phases.
