Mathura, 12 December: A sleeper bus crushed a car going ahead on Yamuna Expressway under Thana Mant area last late last night wherein a woman inspector travelling in the car died on the spot. Three others including her husband were injured.
Police reached the spot after receiving the information and admitted the injured husband and other injured to the hospital for treatment.
Last night, a sleeper bus going from Noida to Prayagraj hit a Swift car going ahead from behind at Mile Stone-100 in Thana Mant area on Yamuna Expressway. In the accident, car rider Robin son Vashisht Narayan resident 6/71 Nehru Nagar Delhi was injured. His wife Neha Shukla died on the spot. Neha Shukla was posted as Sub Inspector in Uttar Pradesh Police at Police Station Naini Prayagraj.
In this accident, bus conductor Ankush Shukla and Rahul son Sanjay resident of village Jasapur police station Siuli Kanpur Dehat were injured. Both of them have also been admitted to CHC Mant for treatment.
Mant police station in-charge inspector Rajit Verma said that the family members of the deceased woman inspector have been informed. All the injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
