New Delhi, December 12: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh on Friday. During this, he will inspect the development works for Mahakumbh-2025 and inaugurate several development projects costing more than Rs 6670 crore.
The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said in a statement on Thursday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Uttar Pradesh on December 13. He will visit Prayagraj and perform puja and darshan at Sangam Nose at around 12:15 pm. After this, at around 12:40 pm, the Prime Minister will worship at Akshay Vat Vriksha and after that darshan and worship at Hanuman Temple and Saraswati Koop. At around 1:30 pm, he will visit the Mahakumbh Exhibition Site. After this, at around 2 pm, he will inaugurate and launch several development projects costing more than Rs 6670 crore in Prayagraj.
PM Modi will inaugurate various projects for Maha Kumbh 2025. This will include various road projects such as 10 new Road Over Bridges (ROBs) or flyovers, permanent ghats and riverfront roads to boost infrastructure and provide seamless connectivity in Prayagraj. In line with his commitment towards a clean and Nirmal Ganga, PM will also inaugurate projects to intercept, tap, divert and treat small drains leading to river Ganga, thereby ensuring zero discharge of untreated water into the river. He will also inaugurate various infrastructure projects related to drinking water and electricity.
PM will inaugurate major temple corridors, which will include Bharadwaj Ashram Corridor, Shringaverpur Dham Corridor, etc. These projects will facilitate access for devotees and also promote spiritual tourism.
PM will also launch Kumbh Sahayak Chatbot which will provide details to guide and update devotees about the events at Maha Kumbh Mela 2025.
