One robber arrested in IOB burglary case in Lucknow, three on the loose

Lucknow, 23 December: The Lucknow police had an encounter with the robbers in the case of burglary in the Indian Overseas Bank located on Matiyari Marg in Chinhat area, police said.

According to the police, on the tip-off of suspects in the morning, the police team started checking vehicles in Laulai village, then the vehicles coming from the front were stopped and questioned. During this, one robber was arrested and three escaped from the spot.

Deputy Commissioner of Police East Shashank Singh told the media that three police teams were deployed in the case of robbery in Indian Overseas Bank. Checking was done by them on the information of the arrival of robbers in Laulai. During the checking of vehicles in the morning, one robber Arvind Kumar, a resident of Munger, Bihar, was arrested.
