New Delhi/Mumbai, 16 January: Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan’s team has released an official statement assuring fans that the actor is stable and out of danger after being stabbed multiple times during a confrontation with a burglar at his Bandra home.
The statement also mentioned that Saif is being closely monitored by a team of medical professionals as he continues to recover from his injuries. The incident took place at 2:30 am on Thursday when Saif woke up due to commotion in his son’s room and intervened to save their house help from the intruder.
The police have started their investigation and have detained three accused for questioning. Saif’s manager had previously shared details of the incident, urging media and fans to be patient as it is a police matter.
The actor’s team thanked the doctors at Lilavati hospital for their care and also expressed gratitude towards all the well-wishers for their support and prayers during this difficult time.
