Varanasi, January 16: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath who came on a two-day visit, after attending the review meeting, took stock of the shelter homes built at Cantt Railway Station and Town Hall.
During this, he talked to the devotees who came from Prayagraj and asked about their well-being like a guardian. After asking about the well-being of the women and the elderly living in the night shelter, he himself gave them new blankets.
During this, the Chief Minister showered a lot of love on the children. While caressing the heads of the children, he gave them toffees and also talked to them. People looked very happy to have the Chief Minister among them.
At the same time, the elderly women gave full respect to the Chief Minister after seeing him as a saint. After taking information from the people about the facilities, the Chief Minister directed to light bonfires in both the shelter homes and also to make proper arrangements for toilets, cleanliness, beds and blankets etc. for the people living there.
He told the officers that no one should sleep on the roadside in the open sky during the cold. Arrangements for such destitute people to stay in the shelter house should be ensured in every condition.
The Chief Minister offered prayer at Kashi Vishwanath temple and Kaal Bhairav โโTemple
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid obeisance at Shri Kaal Bhairav โโTemple and Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple late on Thursday. At Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple, he directed that such arrangements should be ensured in the temple so that the devotees and bathers coming to Kashi during Maha Kumbh can get better facilities and they should not face any kind of problem.
