Lucknow, January 23; The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has given task to its 51 leaders to woo the people of UP in Delhi assembly elections. Many leaders of UP have already been put on duty assembly wise.
On Thursday, 51 leaders of UP will be on duty in 51 assembly constituencies from afternoon onwards. Their main job is to contact the people of UP and make strategy by meeting with the people of the organization. Before this, former ministers Swati Singh and Upendra Tiwari have been engaged in campaigning since the first week of January.
Among the 51 leaders of UP who have been assigned duty in 51 assembly constituencies from Thursday, prominently BJP’s state spokesperson Manish Shukla has been assigned duty in Delhi Assembly where MLA Prakash Dwivedi has been posted in Matinagar, Anand Swaroop Shukla in Laxminagar, Bhupesh Choubey in Kalkaji, Govind Madhav in Kiradi, Surendra Chaurasia in Ambedkarnagar, Shalabhmani Tripathi in Model Town, Ashish Singh Ashu in New Delhi.
Earlier, former minister Swati Singh has been engaged in campaigning in Okhla since the first week of January. She has been campaigning since the candidate was not declared there. Former minister Upendra Tiwari is campaigning in Laxmi Nagar.
In this regard, BJP’s state spokesperson Manish Shukla says that we are disciplined soldiers of the party. We have to go wherever we are assigned duty. From today, we have been assigned duty in Delhi. We have to campaign in Delhi Cantt.
