Lucknow, 05 February: By-election is being held for Milkipur assembly seat of Ayodhya district of UP. Voting started at 7 am today on this seat.
A large number of people of Milkipur assembly constituency were seen queuing up since morning to use their democratic rights.
According to the poll authority, during this, 29.86 percent voting has taken place till 11 am. This by-election being held on Ayodhya seat has become high profile.
There is a one to one fight between the ruling party Bharatiya Janata Party and the main opposition party Samajwadi Party. Chandrabhanu Paswan from BJP and Ajit Prasad from SP are in the election fray.
