Mahakumbh city, 9 Februar: President Droupadi Murmu will arrive to Prayagraj for Mahakumbh on Monday and will witness its grandeur and divinity. She will stay in Prayagraj for more than eight hours. Along with taking a sacred bath in Sangam, she will also visit Akshayavat and Bade Hanuman Temple. During this, the state’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also be present.
President Murmu will reach Sangam Nose in the morning and take a dip of faith in Triveni Sangam. This will be a historic moment for the country’s first citizen to take a holy dip in Sangam. It is worth mentioning that that before this, India’s first President Dr Rajendra Prasad had also taken a holy bath in Mahakumbh.
After this, the President will visit Akshayavat to further strengthen the religious faith. In Sanatan culture, Akshayavat is considered a symbol of immortality. It is an important place of Hinduism, whose importance is also described in the Puranas. Apart from this, she will also visit the Bada Hanuman Temple and pray for the happiness and prosperity of the countrymen.
Prez Will visit the Digital Mahakumbh Experience Center
The President will support the initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to connect religious events with modern India and the digital age. She will visit the Digital Mahakumbh Experience Center, in which detailed information about the Maha Kumbh fair is being made available through technical means. It has been set up here to enable devotees from the country and abroad to experience this wonderful event more closely. The President will leave Prayagraj for New Delhi at 5:45 pm.
The spokesperson of the state government said that this visit of the President will not only be historic for Prayagraj, but will also be an inspirational moment for devotees across the country. His presence will give a new height to the religious, cultural and spiritual significance of the Maha Kumbh. Security arrangements have been tightened in Prayagraj in view of the President’s visit.
