Lucknow, 09 February: A woman absconded with a box full of gold from a jeweler’s shop in Chowk police station area.
On the basis of CCTV footage, the police have registered a case against the unknown female thief and started searching for her.
Police station in-charge Nagesh Upadhyay said that a complaint has been filed by PL Jewelers. It said that a woman who was wearing a burqa had come here to buy a ring. During this time, she got a chance and absconded with about 980 grams of gold along with the box. The woman’s act was captured in the CCTV camera.
Shop owner told that the footage has also been made available to the police. On the basis of the complaint, the police have registered a case against the unknown woman and deployed teams to search for her.
