Lucknow, February 11: On the occasion of the death anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid tribute to him and underlined the relevance of his thoughts.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay’s thinking of Antyodaya is being realized today under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He cornered the opposition on hollow slogans of poverty eradication. Along with this,
Yogi also attacked those who spread false propaganda about Maha Kumbh. He said that people who took VVIP treatment throughout their lives are today engaged in spreading false propaganda about Maha Kumbh.
On the death anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, founder member of Bharatiya Jana Sangh, pioneer of Antyodaya and Integral Humanism philosophy, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday paid floral tribute to his statue.
Chief Minister said that the welfare and development of the person sitting at the last rung of the society was the dream of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay. Today, the double engine government of BJP led by Prime Minister Modi is fulfilling the dreams of Pandit Upadhyay.
Yogi said that previous governments gave big slogans to eradicate poverty but the number of poor people kept on increasing. On the other hand, the Modi government worked to empower the poor in the last 11 years.
Yogi’s counter attack on the propaganda being done about Maha Kumbh
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that in Prayagraj, 45 crore devotees have taken a holy dip in the Sangam in 29 days. This is a historic event. He said that after India and China, no country in the world has a population of 45 crores, more than 45 crore devotees came and took a dip in a temporary city, what could be bigger than this.
He said that some people are trying to spread confusion by linking it to VIP bath. The truth is that Maha Kumbh is a confluence of harmony and faith, where all the devotees come together by eliminating the discrimination of caste, religion, language, region. These people spreading negativity are the same people who have taken VVIP treatment from the government throughout their lives. These are the same people who always stand against India and Sanatan by creating negativity and are busy in spreading false propaganda.
Taking a jibe at the people who create obstacles in development work
The Chief Minister also took a jibe at the people who create obstacles in development work and said that whenever a new scheme is started, some people have the habit of finding flaws only. Giving an example, he said that ‘when the pipeline is laid, the roads get damaged due to digging, but when that work is completed, people get facilities.’
Taking a dig at the opposition parties, he said that when we give housing to 4 crore people, they say that there are still many people left, I want to tell them that 3 crore more houses have been approved.
