Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan and Boney Kapoor-late Sridevi’s younger daughter Khushi Kapoor’s film ‘Loveyapa’ has been released on Friday, February 7. This is Khushi and Junaid’s first film to be released in theatres. Both were promoting this romcom film vigorously. Film ‘Loveyapa’ does not seem to be doing well at the box office. The figures of the film’s earnings on the fifth day have also come out.
According to box office tracker Sacnilk, ‘Loveyapa’ did a business of Rs 50 lakh on the fifth day of its release i.e. on the first Tuesday, while ‘Loveyapa’ had a slow start at the box office with Rs 1.15 crore on the first day. On the second day, the film earned Rs 1.65 crore. On the third day, the film earned Rs 1.75 crore and on the fourth day, Rs 55 lakh. After which its total box office collection has become Rs 5.60 crore.
Advait Chandan’s directorial film ‘Loveyapa’ is a remake of the 2022 Tamil film ‘Love Today’. ‘Loveyapa’ was released during Valentine’s Week. However, this film has not received much love from the audience. Cinema halls were seen closed in many places. There was not much craze about this film as the trailer and songs did not get much response, but since the film stars Aamir Khan’s son and Sridevi’s daughter, it has been talk of the town.
Talking about the star cast of Loveyapa, apart from Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor, Grusha Kapoor, Yuktam Khosla, Tanvika Parlikar, Kiku Sharda, Devishi Madan, Aditya Kulshreshtha, Nikhil Mehta, Jason Tham, Yunus Khan and Kunj Anand have played important roles.
