Maharashtra Chief Minister Fadnavis visits Kashi Vishwanath temple with family

Varanasi, February 15: The Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, who reached Varanasi late Friday evening after taking a holy dip at Sangam in Prayagraj Maha Kumbh, visited Baba Vishwanath with his family.

Fadnavis, along with his wife Amrita, daughter Divija and other family members, offered prayer at the Kashi Vishwanath temple as per the Vedic rituals.

He also performed ‘Rudrabhishek’ in the temple premises. Maharashtra Chief Minister also met people of Marathi community in Varanasi.

Before this, the Chief Minister admired the natural beauty of Ganga Ghats from Namo Ghat on a luxury cruise. While sailing in the Ganga, Chief Minister Fadnavis also kept taking information about the history of all 84 Ghats from the accompanying guide and local BJP leaders and kept telling his family members.

During the cruise ride, he also had tea with his family at Kulhan. During this, he praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi after seeing the development work in Varanasi. After sailing in the Ganga, Chief Minister Fadnavis reached Baba Vishwanath temple from Lalita Ghat.

Fadnavis also talked to journalists after paying obeisance at Kashi Vishwanath temple. He praised the development work done in Kashi and said that the grandeur of India’s ancient and great culture can be clearly seen at Namo Ghat. Kashi is changing every day and has preserved its ancient culture.

Chief Minister of Maharashtra hit back at Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav’s allegations regarding the Maha Kumbh and targeted him fiercely.

Calling Akhilesh’s allegations baseless, he said that the arrangements of Prayagraj Mahakumbh are divine and grand, which are attracting the country and the world. Even after this, Akhilesh is raising questions. Some people keep making allegations throughout their lives.

Referring to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, he said that he did his work and showed his efforts, he should not be questioned. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Adityanath has done what he said. So far, 50 crore people have taken sacred bath in Maha Kumbh. This has created a record in the world. No one remembers such allegations. A great wave of faith is being seen in Maha Kumbh, which is a symbol of India’s unity. No one asks caste, language, province in Kumbh.

Earlier, on the arrival of Maharashtra Chief Minister in Varanasi, party leaders under the leadership of Pindra MLA Dr Awadhesh Singh and senior BJP leader Kripashankar Singh welcomed him warmly. Maharashtra Chief Minister also met people of Marathi community in Varanasi.
