Maddock Films has shared an official post and told that the film ‘Chhava’ has earned Rs 33.1 crore on the first day. The film got a good response on Valentine’s Day. This year people were seen going to theaters to celebrate ‘Chhaava Day’ instead of Valentine’s Day. This has made ‘Chhaava’ the first highest grossing film on February 14. Earlier, Ranveer-Alia’s ‘Gully Boy’ had earned Rs 19.40 crore on Valentine’s Day. This record has been broken by ‘Chhaava’.
Film critics had already predicted that the film would get a better response on Saturday. According to Sacnilk report, ‘Chhaava’ has earned a great amount of Rs 36.5 crore on Saturday. Due to this, the total collection of the film has reached 69 crores. ‘Chhaava’ will soon join the 100 crore club. For Vicky, ‘Chhaava’ has become his biggest opening film till date.
On the other hand, talking about ‘Chhaava’, Vicky has played the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in the film. So, Rashmika Mandanna is playing the role of Maharani Yesubai in it. Apart from this, we are getting to see a strong starcast like Akshay Khanna, Divya Dutta, Ashutosh Rana, Santosh Juvekar, Vineet Singh in the film.
