Jalaun, 01 March: A man committed suicide by hanging himself on Saturday after a family dispute in Udanpur village of Kadaura police station area. Police took the body in custody and started investigation.
Barra alias Pratap Narayan (35), a resident of Udanpur village, had a verbal fight with his wife Rajni Devi over some issue. After the dispute escalated, he committed suicide in anger. In the morning, when the family members saw him hanging, there was an uproar. Police reached the spot and took the body in custody and started investigating the case.
Police investigation has revealed that Pratap Narayan often quarreled with his wife over domestic matters. That is why he took this step. At the same time, the family members said that he was mentally ill for the last few years. It is possible that he committed suicide due to this reason. At present, the police is taking further action on the basis of the complaint of the family.
