Jaunpur, March 01: Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate MP-MLA Court Anuj Kumar Johar on Friday issued arrest warrants against former Apna Dal MP Harivansh Singh, his MLA son Ramesh Singh and Durgesh Singh. March 6 was fixed as the date for further order.
The court summoned the accused in the complaint filed by advocate Vinay Kumar Singh, finding a prima facie case of forgery on the basis of the statements of witnesses against them, but the accused did not appear in court.
On February 17, 2025, a bailable warrant was received to the effect that the accused were not found at home. The family members were informed to go to the court, time and date. The summons sent earlier were either presented with a report to the effect that the accused were not found at home or the family members refused to accept the summons.
The court said that it appears that the accused are avoiding service and do not want to appear in court. Due to this, the proceedings of the complaint are not able to proceed further. The court issued arrest warrant against all three.
Advocate Vinay Kumar Singh said that the matter is of Olandganj locality of Kotwali police station area. Civil Court advocate Vinay Kumar Singh, resident of Hussainabad Line Bazaar, had filed a complaint in the court against former MP Harivansh Singh, his sons MLA Ramesh Singh and Durgesh Singh resident of Shahganj and Lakshya Gupta resident of Mohalla Ahmed Khan Mandi that his father advocate Rajendra Prasad Singh had purchased house number 89/1 in Olandganj on 14 August 2006 from power of attorney Mohini Srivastava, which is registered in the Municipal Corporation.
The accused opponents bought about 2100 square feet of land around the house, but the opponents prepared forged documents and fraudulently sold 3400 square feet of area of โโtheir property to Lakshay Gupta, including the area of โโthe complainant’s house.
The accused have only 2100 square feet of land, but by conspiring, they registered a deed of 3400 square feet of land including the house of the plaintiff next to it.
On May 29, 2021, at around 7 o’clock, the plaintiff and his brother Dayashankar were present at the complex in Olandganj. Meanwhile, Harivansh and his sons Ramesh and Durgesh came with 7-8 armed men with a JCB machine and demolished their house next to the complex. They took away goods worth about ten lakhs from the house on a tractor.
Even after giving an application to the Line Bazar police station and the Superintendent of Police in this case, no hearing took place. The accused are threatening to kill every day. Complainant and witness Ramashankar and Rahul recorded their statement in the court.
On the basis of the statements of the witnesses, the court found a case of forgery prima facie. On which this order has been given.
