Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Jaunpur on Wednesday to participate in the mass marriage on the third day of the Jaunpur Mahotsav organized at the Royal Fort. On the occasion, Minister of State for Sports Girish Chand Yadav and District Magistrate Dr. Dinesh Chandra welcomed CM Yogi.

In his address, CM Yogi asked to make Jaunpur a smart city. Under the Chief Minister’s mass marriage scheme, girls will also be given scooties. He welcomed the people’s representatives and people who had come from far off places to the organized program.
During this, he said that the state government heartily congratulates these 1001 newly married couples. I got the opportunity to be a part of this program. He said that the state government gave the benefit of Ujjwala scheme to 1.86 crore beneficiaries. Everyone was given cylinders. As people register, they will get the benefits. He said that development is very important.
CM said that the double engine government is giving all the benefits to every poor, youth, farmer and woman without any discrimination. Be it Beti Bachao – Beti Padhao or mass marriage, the government is always standing with good wishes. The government is always with you. He said that earlier people used to make fun of it, today till the program in Jaunpur, four lakh marriages have been done in the state. It was the need of the society that no daughter should remain unmarried.
