New Delhi, March 16: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while highlighting the role of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in his life in a podcast interview broadcast on Sunday, said that I consider myself fortunate that I learned the essence of life from a prestigious organization like RSS.
During a podcast conversation with American computer scientist and podcaster Lex Friedman, Prime Minister Modi discussed various aspects related to his personal and social life. One of these aspects was also the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.
In response to a question on the role of the Sangh in his life, Prime Minister Modi said that the Sangh has helped shape him. In the last 100 years, the Sangh has given many such volunteers to the country, who have worked for the country by getting values ββfrom the sacred organization.
He said that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is the largest voluntary organization in the world. Crores of people are associated with it. It is not easy to understand the Sangh. The Sangh inspires to offer everything in the service of the country and the people. In this sequence, it inspires to do something for the society.
During this time, the Prime Minister also told about the organizations associated with the Sangh. He said that the volunteers of the Sangh are working in every field of life. The volunteers of the Sangh work in different fields according to their interest and nature. These include Seva Bharti, Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, Mazdoor Sangh and many other organizations.
He said that Seva Bharti is running lakhs of service projects in poor settlements. Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram is working in the tribal society and is running more than 70 thousand Ekal Vidyalayas. An organization like Vidya Bharti runs 25 thousand schools, in which more than 30 lakh students get education and culture at a time. Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh has more than 55 thousand unions across the country. While the communists give the slogan of being united for the workers of the world, the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh gives the slogan of being united for the world.
