Lucknow, March 18: The National Security Guard (NSG) commandos conducted a mock drill on Tuesday for the security of Bahujan Samaj Party’s national president and former UP chief minister Mayawati. Security personnel, drivers and policemen, fire and ambulance teams were also present in it.
This mock drill was conducted at Mayawati’s residence at 9 Mall Avenue. When a team of NSG commandos, ambulance with siren and police entered the BSP chief’s residence which is under tight security on Tuesday morning, people on the road were surprised that Mayawati lives here. What happened that these people have come here.
The team carried out its work as per the plan. Later it was known that this mock drill was done for security purposes, then people heaved a sigh of relief.
The team leader of the NSG commandos leading the team said that NSG commandos are always deployed for Mayawati’s security. In such a situation, a mock drill has been conducted at her residence to see what kind of preparations will be made to deal with any emergency situation.
