Bahraich, March 20: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is on a tour of Gonda, Bahraich and Balrampur districts. During this, he inaugurated the main building of Bahraich’s Tehsil Mihipurwa (Motipur), spread over 2,138 square meters at a cost of 845.19 lakhs in Bahraich on Thursday morning.
On this occasion, he also laid the foundation stone of residential buildings. While addressing the program, he lashed out at those who glorify the invaders. Yogi said that the public will not tolerate those who glorify the invaders.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Bahraich district is connected to the Rishi tradition of India. The ashram of Balark Rishi was in Bahraich district. The name of the district was taken forward in his name. Maharaja Suheldev had defeated the foreign invaders. It was the result of his valour and courage that no foreigner could set foot on our sacred land for 150 years after that. I bow to this sacred land. Previous governments did not pay attention to this. There was no tehsil building here. Most of the people’s work falls on the tehsil. When there is no tehsil building, how will the common people get justice in revenue related matters.
Yogi stated that when our government came in 2017, more than 33 lakh cases were pending. We fixed a time limit. Accountability of everyone from the lekhpal to the top was fixed. Thousands of acres of land was freed from illegal occupation. Today investment is coming to Uttar Pradesh. Certificates like village toilet, WiFi, caste certificate, residence certificate, death certificate will be available in the village itself. We are working in this direction. Today I have come to dedicate this tehsil building to all of you. A residential colony is also being built here. Officers posted in the tehsil will reside here. Now there will be no injustice with the poor.
Yogi added that Bahraich district has infinite possibilities. There is enough wealth here. This is the same district which was a victim of anarchy. Today, development is taking place here.
On this occasion, Padmasen Chaudhary, Balha MLA Saroj Sonkar, MLA Sureshwar Singh, Subhash Tripathi, Ramniwas Verma, District Panchayat President Manju Singh, former minister Mukut Bihari Verma, former MP Akshaybar Lal Gaur and other dignitaries were present.
