Raj Thackeray said, saffron is in my DNA..

Thackeray’s son Amit was also into the party during the mega show of his party in Goregaon.

Mumbai, Jan 23: Along with changing the party flag, Maharashtra Navanirman Sena (MNS) President Raj Thackeray has also changed the style of his speech. Raj Thackeray started his speech with all my Hindu brothers, sisters and friends .. gathered at the first session of the party.

Maharashtra Navanirman Sena new flag in saffron colour launched by party chief Raj Thackeray in a massive gathering here on Thrusday

Thackeray began his mega rally by garlanding the picture of Savarkar along with B R Ambedkar, Probodhankar Thackeray and Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

Shiv Sena chief late Balasaheb Thackeray also started his speech in the same manner. Raj said that saffron is in my original DNA. Changing the color of the flag does not mean that I have changed. I have not converted. I am Marathi as well as Hindu.

Raj Thackeray said that if Hindus and Marathi speaking people would get affected from politics of religion then being a Marathi he fight for them. Raj said that he does not have to contest elections, he has to run the organization. Those who want to work in the organization should come to the party office and get themselves registered. He did not tolerate party leaders hurting anyone’s feelings on social media.

The decision has, however, irked Maratha Kranti Morcha and Sambhaji Brigade who have opposed the use of Rajmudra on the new flag. Both organisations have said that they would take legal action against Raj Thackeray’s for using Shivaji’s seal for politics.

Raj clarified that in success there are many fathers and in failure there are more advisors. โ€œWhen the party was founded in the year 2006, only the saffron flag was in the mind, but many people came together with an advice for party flag to be in green colour and hence used green color in the party flag. This is my original DNA which is colored by the new flag,โ€ addded Thackeray.

The MNS president said that the flag has the currency of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s reign. Therefore, we have an obligation to uphold their honor. This is not an ordinary flag. This flag should not be used at the time of election. So now a new flag has been launched at the convention.

Raj said that changing the flag is not new. Earlier, Jana Sangh also changed the flag and name. In the year 1980, the name of Jana Sangh was changed to Bharatiya Janata Party. Changing the color of the party’s flag does not mean that Raj Thackeray has changed. I am the same person. My thoughts are the same as they were in the past.

Raj Thackeray took a sarcasm at the Shiv Sena and said that he is not going to change the colour to form the government.
