Lucknow, April 15: Nine IAS officers have been transferred in Uttar Pradesh. Orders were issued late on Monday night. Responsibility of Panchayati Raj Department has been taken back from IAS officer B Chandrakala. Sugarcane Commissioner Prabhu N Singh has been put on waiting list.
In the sequence of transfers, first of all, Secretary Sameer Verma posted in Social Welfare Department has been given the new responsibility of Inspector General Registration Uttar Pradesh. Bhupendra S Chaudhary has got the charge of Commissioner Food and Logistics. Earlier he was Secretary in Public Works Department. Dr. Heera Lal has been removed from the post of State Nodal Officer in Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana and given the responsibility of Commissioner and Registration Cooperative Societies UP.
Apart from these, Secretary of Irrigation Department Naveen Kumar GS has been given additional charge of State Nodal Officer in Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana along with the current post. Pramod Kumar Upadhyay has been removed from the post of Secretary in Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) UP and made Sugarcane Commissioner.
At the same time, Sugarcane Commissioner Prabhu N Singh has been put on waiting list. Along with this, IAS Vaibhav Srivastava has been made Managing Director PCDF. IAS Vaibhav was currently handling the responsibility of the post of Secretary in the Home Department. Panchayati Raj Department has been taken back from IAS B Chandrakala. But she will continue to hold the post of Secretary Women Welfare. Amit Kumar Singh has been made Director of Panchayati Raj Department. Earlier, he was handling the responsibility of Special Secretary Urban Development Department.
