Statue of saint Tulsidas, known for his magnum opus ‘Ramcharitmanas’, installed in the Shri Ram temple complex in Ayodhya

Ayodhya, 15 April: This statue of renowned Hindu saint Tulsidas, best known for writing ‘Ramcharitmanas’- An Awadhi version of original Valmiki Ramayana in Sanskrit, was inaugurated after duly worshipping it. The statue of Saint Tulsidas has been installed in the courtyard of the entrance gate on the east side of the Yatri Suvidha Kendra of the complex.

On this occasion, many people including the Chairman of the Construction Committee Nripendra Mishra, Trust General Secretary Champat Rai, Trustee Dr Anil Mishra were present.

Earlier, the ‘Kalash’ was installed atop of the sanctum sanctorum of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple on Monday.

Trust General Secretary Champat Rai said that today on Vaishakh Krishna Dwitiya Vikram Samvat 2082, April 15, 2025, Tuesday, the statue of Saint Tulsidas was installed in the courtyard of the entrance gate on the east side of the Yatri Suvidha Kendra in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple complex.

He told that today the statue of Saint Tulsidas was inaugurated after duly worshiping it. All the devotees who will visit the Ram Janmabhoomi temple throughout the year will also visit the statue of Saint Tulsidas.
