Lucknow, April 17: The Naimisharanya, the holy ‘Tapobhoomi’ of 88 thousand sages and saints, located on the banks of the Gomti river. Regarding its development, a day before Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary in the year 2023, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had met the saints there.
At the same time, he had announced that there will be no shortage of funds in the development of the pilgrimage area Naimish. The entire area will be transformed in such a way that this land of religion and spirituality also emerges as a center of tourism.
Chief Minister had even said that my effort will be to make the development of Naimish better than Ayodhya.
The party spokesperson of the state government told that the intention of the Yogi government behind the formation of Naimisharanya Tirth Parishad has been the planned development of this pilgrimage site. Under this, a new ghat will be constructed in the Naimisharanya pilgrimage area. This ghat will be between Rajghat and Dashashwamedh Ghat. The old ghats are also to be renovated and beautified. Many of these works have been completed and some are in progress. The
He informed that chief minister believes that as the number of tourists and devotees in Ayodhya increases, the attraction of Naimisharanya will also increase. Anyway, every Hindu wants to come to this place of penance of sages. Being close to Lucknow and in accordance with the sentiments of those who believe in Sanatan Dharma, its development should have been done long ago. Looking at the rejuvenation of Ayodhya and Kashi and the interest of tourists, it has now become necessary. That is why on the one hand the Yogi government is beautifying Ayodhya and building a new Ayodhya there.
State spokesperson said that similarly, a Vedic city is also being built in Naimisharanya. Along with the construction of new ghats and beautification of old ghats, roads are also being widened. Apart from major temples like Lalita Devi and Bhuteshwar Nath, other temples and major places associated with sages and saints and the necessary basic facilities for them will also be developed in view of the convenience and safety of tourists. As per the wishes of the local saints, modernity as well as antiquity will also be taken care of.
Naimisharanya will soon be connected to the state capital and other major religious cities, especially Ayodhya and Varanasi, by helicopter service. A heliport is ready at a cost of Rs 9 crore along the Thakurnagar Rudravart Dham road. Three helicopters can land here simultaneously. Its services will start becoming available after the formalities are completed. Rail and road connectivity will also be improved further.
