Scindia’s cabin, nameplate removed from Congress office in Bhopal

Bhopal, March 11: Former Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia joined Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) on Wednesday afternoon, with this, his nearly 17-year-old relationship with the Congress party also ended. Along with this, the cabin of Scindia located at Congress office in Bhopal and his nameplate in his office was removed soon after the news of his joining BJP has reached Bhopal.

Jyotiraditya Scindia’s cabin was also built in the ground floor of the Congress office in Bhopal along with former Chief Ministers Digvijay Singh and Sanjay Singh, but as soon as he joined the BJP, the party workers expressed his anger and removed his cabin. The activists also uprooted their nameplate. During this time, Scindia’s effigy was also burnt outside the Congress office by strong demonstration.

Significantly, Scindia was the chairman of Madhya Pradesh Congress Election Campaign Committee. He was given staff as well as staff by the party, but Scindia sat in this cabin only once or twice. For the rest of the time, the lock used to hang outside the cabin. It is being told that now this cabin will be given to another leader.
