Lucknow, March 13: A case against unknown people has been filed in the Gomtinagar police station in Lucknow for using of inappropriate and objectionable words against ย judges of Allahabad High Court on social media, police said.
The case has been registered against unknown persons on the complaint of activist Nutan Thakur. Inspector Devendra Kumar Yadav is investigating this matter, Gomti Nagar police informed.
In the FIR, Nutan said that the district and police administration had put up public hoardings of the alleged riot accused in Lucknow city. However, in this regard, the High Court of Allahabad gave its order on March 9 in which the court ordered the immediate removal of these hoardings installed at various locations of the city which are against the rules of law.
According to Nutan, after the passing of this order, indecent, inappropriate and vulgar comments were made against both the judges, who gave the orders of removal of hoardings, of the High Court social media including Twitter. These comments were of a very personal in nature, in which many kinds of misleading and fabricated reasons were given on why the judges have given this order.
According to the FIR, it appeared that these comments were posted on social media by some persons under a well-thought-out conspiracy and went viral.
